in 1997, my parents took me and Lucy to Alaska. We are both grateful for the experience. To get a feel for the scale, that's a standard huge cruise ship in front of the glacier in the back. |

A small glacier. The neatest part of this experience was watching a section calve, then hearing and then seeing the wave from the glacier move across the water and minutes later coming to the kayak. It was just a constant reminder of the scale of Alaska |
