For two years, I was lucky to spend a couple of weeks at the Hummingbird Cay Biological Research Station in the Bahamas with Dr. Norton Nickerson ("Dr. Nick").

It was a small island that had tremendous sunsets and sunrises

It had a different look back then

Dr. Nick had been taking students there since the 60s and because the Station was the whole island, we could do more or less as we pleased. Somewhere the tradition of sans ropa becames established, so the end of the field day was coed ultimate frisbee and a sunset swim.
