Food spinners
In contrast to many Asian countries where street food is cooked to order (Vietnam for one), in Thailand, the street food is prepared in the morning. Consequently, they have tremendous problems with flies. The spinners in the photo here are wind-driven, but many have small motors. We saw quite a few that used old CDs are the blades.
